This is, for the most part your normal Spine Orthopedic practice which means we see and screen a high volume of back complaints from a large primary care base.  We are also the only orthopedic practice at the largest and busiest hospital in the state.  The opportunities for spine referrals both from within and without our practice are significant.  There is a separate spine call at Baptist Health Little Rock and our previous spine surgeon chose to do only Spine call.  That choice would be purely up to the candidate.

We are looking for potential partners not employee physicians.  The partnership track would likely be one year for someone who is already board certified and the completion of board certification for someone who is not.  We will certainly arrange a guaranteed salary but our plan is straight productivity from day one so that the individual has full incentive to produce from the start.  Production above salary is paid in quarterly bonuses.  We would prefer to structure an offer to the needs of the individual but are flexible on any and all incentives.

We will have area information available for any candidate who expresses interest.  In short we are a 700 bed level two trauma center that actually functions as about a level 1.5 facility.  The SMSA of Little Rock is about 500,000 and I consider our market area to be about 1,000,000 as we serve a large area of the state.  This is a beautiful outdoor state with abundant outdoor recreational opportunities in our many lakes and rivers.
